Wren is a dreamer dedicated to the healing and evolution of our planet. To Wren the hoop symbolizes unity and oneness, the Circle of Life. Within the Sacred Spiral, Wren sends out prayer and intention for the healing of the earth and humanity. The hoop is Wren’s magic tool for connecting with and channeling the divine source and expressing and embodying the freedom and infinite potential inside us all. To Wren, hoop dancing is a healing modality unity mind, body, and spirit and liberating the practitioner to achieve their full potential.
From the time Wren was a small child she had a passion for creative expression through music, dance, visual art and theater. She excelled at various musical instruments such as piano, flute, percussion, guitar and vocals. Later in life she discovered and explored the healing power of music and dance during festivals and through the underground dance scene.
In July of 2006 it all came full circle when she discovered the magic of hoop dance. She quickly discovered that it was a powerful, all encompassing way to unite her creative passions for music, dance, visual art, performance, healing and spirituality. Through her performance, Wren expresses freedom and love and soulful passion for life. It is her prayer that it ignites that passion in the hearts of all who witness it.
Wren is currently teaching classes in Denver and Boulder. She also works with poi, staff and fans. She is a practitioner of yoga and enjoys healthy living practices.
